My name is Maritza Michel and I was born and raised in Huntington, New York. In 2012, I earned my Bachelor of Arts in History from CUNY York College. Two years later, I earned my Master of Arts in Teaching from CUNY Queens College. While living in New York, I was a private tutor and a volunteer Sunday school teacher. After marrying my husband in August 2014, we moved to Columbia, SC. I've been working as the Computer Lab Instructional Aide at Bridge Creek Elementary since October 2015. I've always enjoyed working on computers from a very young age. This year at The Creek, we are focused on practicing keyboarding skills, learning about computer and internet safety. I look forward to learning about the latest technology and sharing that knowledge with the students of Bridge Creek Elementary.
